Kate Miller-Heidke isn't exactly brand spanking new to the music community, but her recent album "Nightflight" is garnering large attention and finally ears are tuning into her alterna-pop "you go girl" musicianship. Her melodies are enticing and adorable, acting as the Australian answer to Britain's Lilly Allen,Cheap Lebron 10. "Nightflight" released April 13 to excellent reviews, critics claiming the record is smart and sassy, witty and instrumentally sound. "Ride this Feeling" begins as a brooding melodramatic ballad. It's only appropriate that the album was recorded in a place near isolation where Miller-Heidke's grandparents recently died.
