There is a wonderful scene in Monty Pythons "Life of Brian" where a crowd has gathered outside the house of the mistaken messiah, Brian. Brian comes to the window and tells the crowd they are all free, independent people and should make up their own minds about things. They all chant back in unison "we are free, independent people and should make up our own minds about things." Collective religiosity is a perversion of fellowship. We gather together for united worship, escort beijing, but not to be clones of one another. From the very moment of creation, free will was an important part of the deal.
Sometimes, a happy soul is distracted by a false expectation of having to fit in with the crowd. If you go to church you might feel the pressure to be more like so-and-so because he or she appears to fit in better with the typical Christian stereotype. This is flawed on two counts. One, it places unrealistic expectations on the poor soul who has been singled out as the "perfect Christian". Secondly, it forces you to try and change your own unique personality which has been given to your for a specific reason.
Try and imagine "thinking car parts". Now imagine if the exhaust decided it wanted to be more like the engine because the engine seemed to play a more important role in the running of the car. If you had designed that car, you would want the exhaust to accept its role, even though it was unable to see how important it was. The Bible tells us we are all different parts of the same whole, and we all have a different function to perform. We can never be happy if we are continually bemoaning our lot and wishing we were somehow different. Far better to try and see how we fit in to the grand scheme,Top 10 Horror Movies For Halloween 2010, just by being who we are.
Likewise, do not criticise people who try to maintain their individuality in the face of peer pressure. No two Christians are alike. Dont put yourself or others into the Christian "box"; give up that pressure to change. There is no need to change except insofar as the Holy Spirit deems it right for you to change, beijing escort service, and that is something that will happen with very little effort from you. All that is asked of you is loyalty to the Father, and love of your fellow man. The rest is up to you!
